Personal data (hereinafter mostly referred to as „data“) is processed by us only in the context and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website including its contents and services.

Pursuant to Article 4 (1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, i.e. the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the “GDPR”), “processing” means any operation or series of operations related to personal data that are carried out with or without the aid of automated procedures. This includes collecting, organizing, storing, adapting or modifying, reading, querying, using, disclosing through transmission, dissemination or any other form of data provision, adjusting or chaining, restricting, deleting or destructing data.

With the following privacy policy, we inform you about the nature, scope, purpose, duration and legal basis of the processing of personal data, as far as we, either alone or together with others, decide on the purposes and means of processing. In addition, we inform you about third-party components that we either use for optimization purposes or to increase the quality of use of third-party components, to the extent that third parties process data in their own responsibility.

With regard to data processing (described below in greater detail), users and stakeholders have the right

  • to receive confirmation about the processing of their data, information about the processed data, further information about data processing and copies of the data (see also Art. 15 GDPR);
  • to demand correction or completion of incorrect or incomplete data (see also Art. 16 GDPR);
  • to immediate deletion of their data (see also Art. 17 GDPR), or, alternatively, if further processing is required pursuant to Art. 17 (3) GDPR to restriction of data processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR;
  • to receive the data concerning them and provided by them and to transmission of this data to other providers / controllers (see also Art. 20 GDPR);
  • to file a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority if they believe that their data is processed in breach of data protection provisions (see also Art. 77 GDPR).

In addition, the provider is obliged to notify any recipients to whom data have been disclosed by the provider about any correction or deletion of data or restriction of processing which takes place pursuant to Articles 16, 17 para. 1, 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if such a notification is impossible or could only be achieved by disproportionate means. Notwithstanding, the user has a right to receive information about these recipients.

Likewise, according to Art. 21 GDPR, users and persons concerned have the right to object to the future processing of their data, under the condition that the data is processed by the provider in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. In particular, an objection to the processing of data for the purpose of direct advertising is permitted.

III. Information about data processing

Data that is processed as a consequence of using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage ceases to exist, the deletion of data does not conflict with statuary retention requirements and insofar as no other information is given about individual processing methods in this data privacy policy.

Server data

For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable Internet presence, data is transmitted via your Internet browser to us or to our web space provider. These so-called server log files collect data on, among other things, type and version of your Internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you have changed to our website (referrer URL), the subpages that you visit on our website, the date and time of access and the IP address of the Internet connection from which our website is accessed.

The data collected will be temporarily stored, however separated from any personal data.

This storage takes place on the legal basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of our website.

The data will be deleted no later than after seven days, as long as no further storage is required for evidential purposes. In this case, the data will completely or partially be exempted from deletion until final clarification of an incident.

We use so-called “cookies” on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that your Internet browser stores at your device. These cookies, to different extents, process specific information, such as your browser, your location data or your IP address.

This processing makes our website more user-friendly, effective and secure, as the processing, for example, allows us to reproduce our website in different languages.

The legal basis for this processing is Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR, insofar as these cookies process data for the purpose of initiating a contract or fulfilling a contract.

If the processing does not serve to initiate a contract or to fulfill the contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website legally based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted upon completion of your request, given that the deletion does not conflict with any statutory storage requirements, such as in the event of subsequent contract execution.

Google Fonts

At our website we use Google fonts to display external fonts. This is a service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereafter referred to as “Google”.

Google guarantees that it will respect EU data protection standards even in the event that data is processed in the USA as certified by the EU-US Privacy Shield:

In order to enable our website to use certain fonts, a connection to the Google server in the USA is established when visiting our web presence.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the optimization and economic operation of our website.

The connection to Google enables Google to determine from which website your request has been sent and to which IP address the presentation of the font should be transmitted.
